It’s a common thought: you see a fabulous home in a book or magazine and think, I’d love to hang out there. Well now you can. On January 26, photographer Bob Coscarelli and his wife, the uber-creative Karen Valentine, are graciously opening their modern home for an event we’re holding with the Chicago Architecture Foundation. Bob and Karen’s home is featured in our new coffee table book, Chicago Spaces: Inspiring Interiors, so we thought it’d be fun to hold an event at their home and offer copies of the book to attendees. For $60 ($50 for CAF members) you get a signed copy and a wine-and-cheese reception at the Coscarellis’ home in West Town (not a bad deal, since the book retails for $45). The Coscarellis will speak about their home’s design (did I mention that Bob is a talented architectural and interiors photographer?), and the architect involved will also be on hand. You’ll also get to chat with the staff of Chicago Home + Garden, who put together the book. Space is limited.
