WPA Chicago (314 W. Superior St.) is making room for its fall collections, arriving soon from Milan. That means the sale is on. Now through August 16, floor models from Cassina, Poltrona Frau, and Cappellini, as well as lighting from Flos and kitchen displays from Arclinea, will be marked down by 20 to 50 percent.

The 56th annual Dearborn Garden Walk is this Sunday, July 20 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Explore 20 private gardens (while listening to live jazz or classical music in some of them), and take a guided architectural walking tour of historic Dearborn Parkway. The info hub will be at Latin Middle School (45 W. North Ave.).

The next installment of River North Design District’s Speaker Series, called “It’s in the Mix,” is coming up next Wednesday, July 23 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Golden Triangle (330 N. Clark St.). Learn how to incorporate antiques into any décor while sipping on cocktails and nibbling on small bites. Advice will be dispensed by interior designers Kenneth Walter, Michael Del Piero, Randy Heller, and John Cannon, with Jan Parr from Crain’s Chicago Business (formerly of Chicago Home + Garden magazine) moderating. RSVP to info@goldentringle.biz.

San Juan Ventures (664 W. Hubbard St.), which sells gorgeous custom furniture, sculpture and architectural elements made in Bali, is closing its River North location to focus on its Bali operations (I mean, can you blame them?). All inventory in Chicago will be marked down by 80 percent through the end of August. Contact Beth Klemann at beth@sanjuanventures.com to see the selection and coordinate your purchase.

This Saturday and Sunday, the city’s most charming flower shop, Asrai Garden (1935 W. North Ave.) in Wicker Park, is having a huge sidewalk sale. Get 25 to 80 percent off everything, including accessories, art, and taxidermy. Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday noon to 5 p.m.

Danish contemporary interiors retailer BoConcept (1901 N. Clybourn Ave.) is having an end-of-the-season sale offering 25 percent off select extendable tables and Arco and Carmo sofas (pictured below) and up to 50 percent off floor models. Sale starts July 14 and goes through August 28.
