The weather is finally warming up and it’s time to party. The Dock 6 Collective is having the seventh iteration of its very fun and aesthetically pleasing Design + Art Series on Friday, May 9, 6 p.m. to midnight and Saturday, May 10, noon to 4 p.m. See new furniture by Zak Rose, Lagomorph Design, Carson Maddox, and others, plus art from a dozen local artists. There will also be plenty of booze and BBQ.
A bunch of outdoor furniture showrooms on the 15th and 16th floors at the Design Center at the Merchandise Mart are offering 75 percent off dining sets, loungers, lighting, rugs, and accessories through May 9.
Bursting with stylish jewelry, clothes, food and home décor, Dose Market is a perfect setting for spoiling mom. Hit it on May 11, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1st Ward (2033 W. North Ave.).
If you’ve ever shopped at Revision Home, you know it’s a party. Literally. This quarterly vintage shopping event takes place at a West Town warehouse, and comes complete with cocktails and gorgeous refurbished furniture and accessories. The next one is coming up Thursday, May 14 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at 323 N. Hoyne St. The warehouse will also be open through the weekend, by appointment only.
Turn The Tables (1955 Cherry Ln., Northbrook) an upscale furniture consignment shop, is hosting an upholstery demonstration Wednesday, May 14 at 6 p.m. RSVP at 847-272-9966.
