Hermès has long been a favorite resource for in-the-know interior designers, but now that the Parisian leather house has a flagship store in Chicago, we all have more access to its tony offerings for the home—pillows, throws, china, and more. But what’s most exciting chez Hermès is the recent reintroduction of its Jean-Michel Frank collection. The company first collaborated with the late, great French designer in the 1920s; he adapted Hermès’s proprietary saddle stitch to a line of leather furniture. He also created tables, desks, and other pieces incorporating such refined materials as cerused oak, leather, parchment, and shagreen—many of which are back. The company also just introduced wallpaper and rugs. All prices available upon request. 25 E. Oak St., 312-787-8175, hermes.com
