Vintage Pop-Up Shop

The Savoy Flea owner Marianne de Ley and Strangelovely owner by Kim Tanner are teaming up for a holiday vintage pop-up shop Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at 2621 W. Grand Ave. (enter through the warehouse). Vintage and antique furniture, accessories, and curiosities will be for sale. Admission is free.

Show of Hands

Show of Hands, a new two-day craft show featuring 60 independent artists and craftspeople mostly from the Chicago area, is taking place at the Ravenswood Event Center Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It was started by Orange Beautiful, a Ravenswood-based design studio and shop. Find cards, art glass, candles, prints, ceramics, and more.

The School of the Art Institute

The School of the Art Institute is holding its 25th-annual holiday art sale—a great source for well priced handmade items and works of art created by students—Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the SAIC Ballroom (112 S. Michigan Ave.). Admission is free, and the art runs from $1 to $1,000.
