At the Merchandise Mart (mmart.com), Dining by Design is Nov. 5-7; the One of a Kind Show and Sale is Dec. 3-6. SOFA (sofaexpo.com), featuring artful functional objects, is back at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall Nov. 6-8. In honor of its 20th anniversary, the Modernism Show (winnetkamodernism.com) will include furniture vignettes by industry pros, including interior designer Michael del Piero and Larry Vodak of Scout (whose wares are shown above), and also feature our editor, Jan Parr, among the speakers; Nov. 7-8 at the Winnetka Community House.
