Double-duty glassware by Felicia Ferrone

While living in Italy as a budding architect about eight years ago, Chicagoan Felicia Ferrone created a design that’s brilliant in its simplicity: a two-in-one glass that can be used for water or flipped over and used for wine. Her prototype, immediately picked up by a manufacturer, is on display in the new Modern Wing at the Art Institute of Chicago. Ferrone recently expanded her line, Revolution, to include a bowl, a carafe, and other double-duty glassware. From $40, at the Modern Wing Shop, 111 S. Michigan Ave., 312-443-3070
