Openings

O’Brien Harris
Kitchen designers Laura O’Brien and Peter Harris will stake their claim on a piece of River North turf this month when they open O’Brien Harris Luxury Kitchens and Baths in the showroom-saturated neighborhood. Both spent more than ten years as senior designers at Christopher Peacock Cabinetry; they’ve joined forces to create sophisticated spaces infused with a modern English aesthetic (Harris hails from London). The duo’s debut cabinet line, the New Metropolitan Collection, was inspired by a recent renovation of the Savoy hotel in London. Options include doors inlaid with black agate and mother-of-pearl.
