CHICAGO HOME + GARDEN’S SECOND CHAIRS FOR CHARITY EVENT proved that when it comes to reimagining old chairs, the possibilities are endless—and marvelous. Once again, 16 designers came up with indisputably stylish seats, drawing hundreds of people to Chicago Art Source to admire the goods and place their bids. With options such as Suzanne Cahill’s exotic Imelda, Gary Lee’s luxurious Amancalama, and Greg Jagmin’s flirty Barbara, the pickings were prime. And the results of the auction were pretty terrific, too: $7,600 was raised for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
