In June, the International Olympic Committee announces its short list of potential host cities for the 2016 Summer Games. While most Chicagoans don't know whether to be excited or scared about the prospect, Chicago2016.org is so gung ho for the bid that it's sold us out to the metric system, advertising our "3,000 hectares of city parks."
