While pursuing a degree at the School of the Art Institute, answered an ad in the Chicago Reader calling for apprentices at a commercial dungeon. Apprenticed for three years. Does about two performances a week and spends 5 to 15 hours weekly role-playing with private clients.

I always wanted to be an ER nurse. I decided to go to art school instead.... Now I get to play nurse as a role play.... When I host events, I set up a dungeon area, bring a few slaves, do a theatrical bondage performance.... It's a lifestyle, and secondary it's business.... it's something I would do even if there weren't money involved.... [In this business] I know everybody burns out at some point, but I'm not giving up anytime soon. I see myself going another five or ten years.
