On August 22nd, the second-ever Vintage Bazaar will pop up for one day at the Congress Theater. “It’s a cross between a good estate sale and an old-timey flea market,” says Katherine Raz, who launched the first event in February with her friend Libby Alexander. This time around, find housewares starting at $5, décor accessories starting at $20, and furniture starting at $100 from more than 60 new vendors. “We’re looking for people who haven’t done flea markets before, or that often, so we can have new stuff at every event,” says Raz. Newcomers include local shops The Sometimes Store and Knee Deep Vintage. Returning favorites include Study and Manly Vintage. Congress Theater, 2135 N. Milwaukee Ave.; thevintagebazaar.com.
