Bar Siena

Open now

When chef-partner Fabio Viviani (Siena Tavern) talks about a high-energy cocktail area, a pizza oven that he calls Bella, and BomboBar (dedicated to Italian pastries and gelati), he turns into one excited dude. 832 W. Randolph St.

Bernie’s Lunch & Supper

Opening in August

This deceptively casual-sounding spot has some serious talent behind it: Zack Sklar (Peas & Carrots Hospitality) and Ryan Sand (Per Se, Bouchon Bakery). 660 N. Orleans St.

Untitled Steakhouse from Boka Group

Opening in September

Boka Restaurant Group and B. Hospitality Co. strike again, this time with a chef-driven steakhouse that has a concierge. In case you forgot to order the flowers or the theater tickets or something. The space was previously known as Armour & Swift, but will have a new name soon. 1000 W. Fulton Market
