The second annual Spring Awakening Music Festival was held at Soldier Field this past weekend, bringing young EDM-enthusiasts from all corners of the country—and the world, if the shirtless bodies draped in international flags are anything to go by.
The Bears’ playing field was saturated with neon-clad youth that erupted into ecstasy during “da Main Stage” sets by DJ Moby and Paul Oakenfold. Calvin Harris’ hit-packed, closing night set reached a beautiful climax when the Scottish DJ played “Feel So Close,” accompanied by a colorful firework display and a chorus of thousands singing along.
