City dwellers who aren't prepared to cab it to Downers Grove's newly reopened Stardust can mix this holiday party-pleaser at home.

The newly reopened Stardust (1211A Butterfield Rd., Downers Grove) brings a nightlife oasis to suburban points west, but city dwellers who aren't prepared to cab it can mix this holiday party-pleaser at home.
Caffé de Holiday
1 oz. Starbucks Cream Liqueur
1 oz. Starbucks Coffee Liqueur
1/2 oz. Absolut Vanilia vodka
5 ice cubes
Step 1: Combine all ingredients in a shaker, shake, and strain into a martini glass.
Step 2: Garnish with chocolate syrup and a raspberry.

Um, is that bar in a shopping mall? Something about bars surrounded by vast parking lots just strikes me as wrong, what with alcohol and driving not mixing so well and all.
