Bistro Campagne

4518 N. Lincoln Ave.
Chicago, IL 60625

It’s tough to find a neighborhood spot more charming than this family-run bistro, where the ambiance and staff show no signs of stuffiness. A devotion to organic, sustainable farming is evident on the menu, which evolves seasonally, but (thankfully) you can always count on juicy hanger steak frites from Meyer Natural Angus. Consider starting with the creative salads, given the heavy meal to come. You could easily fill up on side dishes, which include a Gruyère and Emmental macaroni gratin that will haunt your dreams. Finish with decadent dark chocolate pot de crème topped with fresh Chantilly cream.
