Stephanie Izard pushes her goat envelope further than ever and emerges with her own brand of Chinese food. Her jazzy renditions of crab rangoon with grilled pineapple sweet-and-sour sauce and scallion pancakes topped with pickled coleslaw merely pave the way for Forbidden Goat, black rice laced with quail eggs, roasted goat, and goat liver. If you want a Peking duck, (and you definitely do) it’s probably smart to dine early. Same goes for snagging a table.
