A splashy watering hole for trendies and celebs, complete with a downstairs riverfront lounge, this spot also excels with first-rate seafood. Sushi and appetizers make up the core of the menu, with innovative maki and specialties like monkfish foie gras wrapped with octopus and nori. Succulent entrées include plancha-seared cod with crispy shrimp dumplings in wild mushroom broth and roasted-chestnut-crusted chicken with shiitake-rice stuffing and ginger-lemon sauce. Cap the meal with kabocha (Japanese pumpkin) cheesecake topped with five-spice pineapple mousse. Ornate cocktails, fine sakes, and fitting wines.
