An illustration of the Heritage of Palatine building

PALATINE $249,900 to $329,900

With its spacious floor plans, very large kitchens, and big walk-in closets, the emphasis at the Heritage of Palatine was clearly on giving residents lots of room. Even the units’ unseen spaces are generously proportioned: To reduce noise, each floor of the building is separated from the one above it by 12 inches of concrete, and cinder blocks make up each condo’s outer walls. “We try to stretch each building as much as we can,” says Katie Campbell, the sales manager for R. Franczak & Associates, which developed the building at 50 South Greeley Street, just a block south of Palatine’s Towne Square Park.

Eight of the Heritage’s 48 condos remain for sale; they each have two baths and either a two-bedroom or a two-bedroom-plus-den layout and include an indoor parking space. Offered as a winter special at $249,900, a 1,515-square-foot unit is unfinished, meaning a buyer can select flooring, countertops, and other items. The finished condos range in size from 1,515 square feet ($269,900, marked down from $339,900) to 1,674 square feet ($329,900, down from $371,900).
