Condos on North Halsted Street, designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture

LINCOLN PARK $1.075 million to $1.195 million

Designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, this building at 2117 North Halsted Street takes advantage of its relatively roomy surroundings with large walls of windows and covered balconies along its north side and smaller openings on the south. “We wanted to frame the most light and the best-available views,” says Brian Goldberg, a partner in LG Development, the project’s developer.

The condos’ two-story layouts—and their private rooftop decks—enhance that feeling of spaciousness, as do the open kitchens and the 11-foot ceilings. Goldberg explains that lining the three units up next to one another “gave each more of the feeling of a house,” but a house on stilts: The condos sit above retail and garage spaces.

The two condos that remain for sale each have three bedrooms. A 2,200-square-foot unit priced at $1.075 million has one bedroom on the main floor and two upstairs. The middle unit—with about 2,400 square feet and a $1.195 million price tag—has all its bedrooms on the upper floor. Each condo comes with a parking space and an option to add a lift for a second car. Matt Leutheuser of Sudler Sotheby’s is handling sales.
