Lagunitas TapRoom

Douglas Park

In the eyes of purists, Lagunitas may have sold out (Heineken purchased a 50 percent stake in the beer company in 2015), but this 300,000-square-foot Wonka-esque warehouse/taproom has lost none of founder Tony Magee’s exuberant quirkiness. Say what you will about the fun-house atmosphere, but if you’re hops obsessed, it’s a bucket list destination, serving up limited-release brews that’ll never hit grocery stores.

Who’s there:A cast of beanie-wearing dudes who seem to be transplanted straight from the Pacific Northwest
What to order:Anything rare, like High West-ified imperial coffee stout ($5)
