Choosing to make a wild farmhouse ale a signature offering is a risk the average brewery won’t take. Whiner isn’t your average brewery. Brian Taylor and Ria Neri, both local suds vets, set up shop in the Plant, an eco-friendly business incubator, and spending an afternoon sipping extrafunky sours in their industrial space feels like stumbling upon a secret. Despite its offbeat style, the aforementioned ale, Le Tub, is the most drinkable new brew out there.
