You're more likely to see me at a hip-hop show than a charity ball. // I like to get out of my comfort zone. I think that started in college, when I went from Hyde Park to a four-stoplight town in New England. Now if someone tells me about some- place I "have to see," I'm going. I'm just an explorer. // I've learned as much outside the classroom* as I have anywhere else. I grew up with people from all different kinds of backgrounds and experiences. // The reason I work in the emergency department is because it's where people can go regardless of their ability to pay. You take care of everybody, and it's a window into our society. // My work is definitely important to me, but I try to find a balance. I'm better some weeks than others.

Dr. Fisher is a wonderful person. He is real passionate about his work and somewhat of an perfectionist, in my opinion.
