Curtain Caller “What’s nice about dancing now is that I do it for me. Right after I stopped [performing as a Joel Hall company member], people would say: ‘I can’t believe you’re quitting. Anybody can be a lawyer, and you gave up on your dream.’ And I said, ‘I don’t know how you think you know what my dreams are.’ I got to dance with amazing people, and I was ready to move on.”

Scam Buster “I wasn’t sure I would like working in the Consumer Fraud Bureau when I first started, but it can be really rewarding. We’re dealing with individual Illinois residents who got ripped off, and if we’re able to retrieve some of their money—or at least let them know that this guy isn’t going to hurt somebody else—then consumers are receptive to that.”
