Primary Source “I thought I wanted to go into head and neck surgery, but when it came time to make a decision, I sat down and thought, When I was in sixth grade and wanted to become a doctor, what was it I was drawn to? It was being the person that people turn to: being someone’s doctor for decades—and not just their doctor, but their spouse’s doctor and their kid’s doctor. I wanted to be that touch point for people.”
