“It’s a two-story mansion inside a high-rise,” says Charles Huzenis, a principal at Jameson Sotheby’s, which handled the March sale of a seven-bedroom, 7,900-square-foot duplex in the luxe 50 East Chestnut tower.

Buyers from Asia (whose names are not yet in public records) paid $4.05 million for the condo (list price: $4.9 million). That’s the highest price in public records for a unit in the 39-story building.
