Chairs for Charity

November 3, 2010- More than 200 guests, including members of Chicago’s design community, Chicago Home + Garden readers, and friends of the magazine, gathered at The Tile Gallery to celebrate the first-ever Chairs for Charity event. One-of-a-kind chairs, created by fifteen of Chicago’s top designers, were auctioned off via a silent auction. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from District Bar, Floriole, Abigails American Bistro, More, Paula & Monica’s, and UV Vodka. The event raised more than $10,000 for Designs for Dignity, which provides pro bono design services to area nonprofits.
