With seven new burgercentric spots launched or launching, burger madness has only just begun: We’ve got The Burger Point (1900 S. State St.), Burger Joint (675 N. Franklin St.; 312-440-8600), Burger Boss (7512 W. North Ave., Elmwood Park; 708-452-7288), and The Burger Philosophy (1541 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.; 773-944-0373). Then there’s Allen Sternweiler’s Butcher and the Burger (1021 W. Armitage Ave.; 773-697-3735), the oddly named 25 Degrees (736 N. Clark St.; 312-943-9700), and, perhaps most promising, Grange Hall Farm Burger (844 W. Randolph St.; 312-491-0844) in the old Veerasway space, where the owners are trading their cumin for ketchup. If that’s not a sign of the times . . .
