Recently appointed executive director of the Illinois Humanities Council, Belize native Angel Ysaguirre, 47, has set ambitious goals to expand the organization’s impact outside Chicago through stategic partnerships and more robust activities. The former programming and grant-making exec has filled the Andersonville frame house he shares with his partner, Bob Webb, an advertising executive, his young son, Nate, and their two dogs, Cuff and Dash, with meaningful pieces that provide a homey backdrop for dinner parties.
