Vince Comes to Oak Street

INVINCIBLE: The luxury contemporary brand opens its first Chicago retail store

On October 1st, the luxury contemporary brand Vince—best known for its signature cashmere and leather pieces—opens its first Chicago retail store on Oak Street. The new outpost carries all of Vince’s women’s, men’s, and denim collections—not stocked in full at Saks Fifth Avenue or Neiman Marcus. “The men’s and denim lines are both young, and we’re excited to give them the attention they deserve,” says Christopher LaPolice, the L.A.-based cofounder and president. Inventory and prices run the gamut, from cotton T-shirts ($60) to shearling jackets ($1,350). Our fall picks include duo plaid shirts for men ($195), straight-leg corduroys for women ($220), and chunky cashmere and wool sweaters for both sexes (women’s from $148; men’s from $145). 106 E.
