For nearly 50 years, Fox Valley Orthopedics (FVO) has brought quality patient care and leading-edge orthopedic treatment to the far northwest suburbs. FVO has 19 board-certified physicians in such subspecialties as joint replacement, sports medicine, hand/wrist, foot/ankle, spine, and pain management. FVO sees 115,000 patient annually, and performs 13,000 procedures ranging from minor surgeries to total joint replacements.
The physicians at FVO offer patients the latest in innovative orthopedic care. Arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques are often used, in addition to leading-edge treatments like regenerative medicine, stem cell therapies, and robotic-assisted hip replacements. FVO also offers independent medical examinations for workers compensation and personal injury at work.
Fox Valley Orthopedics’ Ambulatory Surgery Center is a fully equipped, state-of-the-art surgery center that offers convenient, outpatient surgical care. The entire surgical team—physicians, registered nurses, technicians, and anesthesiologists—are orthopedic specialists and offer the highest quality of care for optimal recovery.
OrthoFirst is FVO’s immediate orthopedic care clinic and is open six days a week to better serve the community. Adults and adolescents can immediately see a specialist to begin treatment for such acute injuries as fractures, broken bones, muscle/joint pain, sprains, and dislocations.
Fox Valley Orthopedics recently announced the addition of six new surgeons, five formerly with Midwest Bone and Joint Institute. Each of the new surgeons brings his or her own unique set of skills, further heightening FVO’s expertise in the field of orthopedics and the treatment of spine, joint replacement, and sports medicine. The expansion also gives FVO the opportunity to offer more services and locations in the Algonquin, Elgin, and Barrington areas.
Committed to the community, FVO’s physicians support numerous events and fundraisers. Currently, FVO has physicians serving as team doctors to over 10 community high schools, Judson University, and the Kane County Cougars.
