Tucked away on the ninth floor of Water Tower Place (take the elevators at the back of the mall), Horwitz is Chicago's oldest family-owned wholesale jeweler. Prices are a little lower than you'll find elsewhere; Horwitz purchases stones directly from cutters and has buying offices in New York and Israel. The store does a brisk business in estate and custom jewelry; also find reproductions, artist-made pieces, and pink and yellow sapphires.
