While looking at the cosmetics strewn about my dresser, I became thoroughly distracted by the sheer mess of it all. I’ve experimented with different ideas—bringing back my Caboodles case, using vintage pottery to hold my makeup brushes—but it’s time to face facts. The answer is, was, and always will be the Clear Cube. At $300, it better be. There are plastic knock-offs of the five-tiered case galore, but you get what you pay for. In this case, it’s Acrylite, the Benz of acrylic. It safely, visibly, beautifully holds everything you need.
