The Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Symphony Ball

On Friday, Sept. 22, CSO’s annual Symphony Ball kicked off the 2017–18 season with a festive evening of music. Conductor Riccardo Muti led the orchestra in Rossini’s William Tell Overture and Tchaikovsky’s The Sleeping Beauty, as well as Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 with Anne-Sophie Mutter as the soloist.
