Longman & Eagle

Opening This Week

Thursday, 2/28: Longman and Eagle’s Off Site Bar (2657 N. Kedzie Ave., 773-276-7110), attached to the existing back patio, will triple as a 16-seat micro-bar, an event space, and a tasting room.

Friday, 3/1: Brasserie 54 by LM will also add a cocktail and wine bar, aptly named L’etage (5430 N. Clark St., 773-334-5942), French for “upstairs.” Charcuterie and dessert will be served.

Saturday, 3/2: The brains behind Co-Op Hot Sauce and Crumb have joined forces to create Sauce and Bread Kitchen (6340 N. Clark St., 773-942-6384), which will sell sandwiches, salads, and lots of sweet treats.

Brian Tondryk, the grandson of Gino’s East founder Fred Bartoli, is planning Bartoli’s Pizzeria at 1955 West Addison Street in April. . . . Also in April, Wrigleyville’s late-night zany-flavored pizza spot Dimo’s is expanding to a Bucktown location at 1615 North Damen Avenue. . . . The food truck Schnitzel King is opening a storefront at 308 West 33rd Street, also pegged for April. . . . Blue Bayou looks to freshen up its décor and menu just in time for spring. The restaurant remains open throughout significant renovations, which will end mid-March.
