The design of the Wild Pug was a bit all over the board. The fireplace and relaxed lounge feel in the front was cool, or should I say warm (from the fire). But everything else in the bar seems to be counter intuitive to a lounge. There is a dance floor in the back and lots of open space in the middle. The "Mild Pug" wants to be everything to everyone... dance bar, lounge, pub, and "The Hot Spot." I doesn't achieve any of those titles successfully.
I can't say I won't go back to the Pug. The fireplace was amazing! But a few little items instantly turned off. The $2.00 coat check fee (I think even Sidetrack is still a buck) and the lack of any Stoli Vodka, okay let me say it in again–NO STOLI VODKA! *weep* I guess water is fine-enough to drink.
Good Luck Wild Pug Folks!
