VIP Reopening: Angels & Kings @ Hard Rock Hotel

The rock lounge Angels & Kings, formerly of River North, reopened last night to an invite-only crowd in the lobby of the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago. Pete Wentz and his new band, Black Cards, played a short set before posing on the red carpet (that’s him, with what we can only assume are pro-Bears swipes of solidarity greasepaint) then hitting the bar...

Public House doesn’t officially open for business until January 13th, but a flock of early birds got a sneak peek during the River North bar’s preview party on New Year’s Eve.
