Rooftop Lounging at Epic Sky

Posted Jul 6, 2010 at 12:22 PM

Wednesday is the busy night at Epic Sky, a new open-air lounge on the roof of the River North restaurant Epic (our dining department’s pick for most striking décor of 2010)—which means you have a full day to round up a crew and claim your spot tomorrow at the 28-foot bar. Our photographer stopped by last week and found a lively happy-hour-and-beyond crowd enjoying the cocktails, twilight views, and eye candy. Browse the photos below.

About Seen on the Scene

Call it bar hopping by proxy: Each week we send our photographers into the thick of the action to capture the latest openings and the most buzzed-about events; then, on Mondays, we post the photos here, where you can view them without getting elbowed in the side or having a drink spilled down your pants. You’re welcome. And for those who do run into our photographers out and about, be sure to smile for the camera.
