Gone are the remnants of Slow Down: Life’s Too Short, the hamburger- and hot-dog-topped bar on Elston Avenue that closed in 2004. In their place: Estate, the sleek new riverside spot that opened its doors to the public on Leap Day. When our photographer arrived at the 8,000-square-foot multi-room “ultra bar” on Saturday night, there was a line of partygoers at the door—plus a fire marshall on hand to make sure the building wasn’t over capacity.
