Weekend Photos: Blokes & Birds

On Saturday our photographer pointed his camera toward Lake View’s Blokes & Birds, which, along with Avondale’s Owen & Engine and Wicker Park’s Bangers & Lace, completes the city’s triumvirate of new UK-themed pubs. So far, it seems, this newbie—named after the British slang for guys and gals—is more laidback drinking den than full-tilt Wrigleyville circus, which is just fine by us.
