Ominous News

Snap is officially scared. According to Chicago Tribune's Theater Loop blog, American Girl Place will be closing its basement theater show in September "to find new entertaining experiences for our guests" that won't include live performers.

This can only mean one thing: puppet shows. While we find the spoiled little girls lined up outside the store adorable, the dolls do freak us out a bit. Here's to hoping the store will show animated films—and not animatronic dolls.

Thanks to Flickr user ninjapoodles for this shot, taken at the store's Doll Hair Salon (yes, seriously).
