Another day, another pretty-okay festival lineup to look at with your face. This afternoon, North Coast announced the first wave of bands for its seventh annual festival, which runs September 2 through 4 at Union Park. Bassnectar, Odesza, and Zedd are headlining, with support from Logic, Grouplove, Action Bronson, Juicy J, Sleigh Bells, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.

As far as headliners go, this is North Coast's least democratic lineup in years. While the festival has typically spread its headlining slots between a jam band, a DJ, and an emcee, this year's headliners all skew electronic. That's particularly resonant given last year's lineup, which cast R&B vets D'Angelo and Macy Gray alongside Steve Aoki, and led many to believe North Coast was adopting a more balanced aesthetic. Guess not!
