4 CSO at Ravinia

Classical: Outgoing Ravinia conductor James Conlon champions the often-neglected work of composer Alexander Zemlinsky, whose music the Nazis suppressed. Here, Conlon leads the orchestra in Zemlinksy’s tone poem Die Seejungfrau. Pianist Jorge Federico Osorio also kicks off the concert with Brahm’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
