Openings

Tru alum Laurel Khan is behind Curious (2020 W. Chicago Ave., Ukrainian Village), a 38-seat BYOB where the globally inspired comfort food fits into the theme she dubs “a chef’s playground.”

Longstanding dive the Two Way Lounge has made way for Deadbolt (2412 N. Milwaukee Ave., Logan Square), a cocktail lounge and live music venue operated by the group behind neighboring ramen joint Furious Spoon along with mixologist Dustin Drankiewicz (Moneygun).

Fast-casual Mediterranean concept BenjYehuda has expanded from the city to the ‘burbs, serving up falafel and such to Schaumburg (1020 N. Meacham Rd.) for both lunch and dinner.

Morsels

Snooze aficionados, take note: Milk & Honey (1920 W. Division St., Wicker Park) is now serving breakfast until 2:30 p.m. every day.
