Henry's Swing Club (18 W. Hubbard St., River North), the latest from the DMK crew, isn't like other River North bars. In fact, if you hate the neighborhood's typically clubby spots, this might be your next stop for an after-work happy hour—or maybe hours, plural.

For one, it's cheap. Craft cocktails top out at $10, and the line-up includes a bunch of force-carbonated cocktails and more traditional mixes (we enjoyed the Corktown Swizzle with gin, pineapple syrup, Cocchi Americano, and Peychaud's bitters).

The kitchen stays open until 2 a.m. on weekends, and the food menu includes a dish called "Fuck It, Here's a Big Tamale." (If that's too uncouth an order, just go for the sliders.) The bar itself is nicely designed for hanging out, with plenty of seating, and a pool table.

Here's what we saw when we swung by this weekend.
