So it wasn't the best outcome for the Blackhawks on Saturday, but that didn't make watching the game at the Pony (1638 W. Belmont Ave., Lake View, theponychicago.com) any less pleasant. The sprawling bar was packed to the brim with Hawks fans—and, as an official team supporters' spot, it will likely stay that way all through the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The spot has all the sports-bar standards (beer, more beer, and TVs as far as the eye can see), with all manner of seating options (stools, tables, and standing room). Basically, whatever kind of viewing experience you prefer, you can probably make it happen here. Unless you want to watch the game alone.

Here's what all we saw when we stopped in. Expect a similar scene tonight for Game 3.
