Anything you may have found at Churchill Downs during Saturday's running of the Kentucky Derby was probably also at Derby (1224 W. Webster Ave., 773-248-0900), Lincoln Park's (appropriately named) horse racing-themed bar and home to a massive party for the so-called "Fastest Two Minutes in Sports."

In addition to free-flowing mimosas and mint juleps as guests waited to watch California Chrome beat the field, there was Southern-style fashion in spades—seersucker suits and bowties for the gents and dresses and massive hats for ladies, all in an attempt to win the day's pre-race best dressed contest. The winning woman came in a floppy pink hat and matching dress; the male champ wore his derby-jockey finest.

Here's what else we saw while waiting for the bugler to call the horses to the post.
