The StopAlong (1812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Bucktown) is small, that’s for sure. But this pizza-and-beer joint nestled along the 606 trail is mighty, too. The bar back is covered in vintage toys, many drinks come in throwback red cups, and your check arrives in old NES and Atari video game cartridges.
When we stopped by, the crowd was on the thin side—blame the one-two punch of Halloween and the Cubs. But it was still a fun place for a low-key pie and a pint, followed by several rounds on the arcade games tucked in the back corner.
