This Week’s Top Story

Gallery Aesthete (galleryaesthete.com), the esteemed lifestyle boutique that features menswear and artwork in a gallery-like setting, has relocated to Wicker Park. At 1751 West Division Street, the new store is street-level, which marks a departure from its harder-to-spot, former home on Oak Street. Set to host its grand opening on August 18, the minimalistic shop will continue to stock avant-garde menswear. But, with newly expanded square footage, it also has room for women’s collections. Featured designers will include Barbara I Gongini and Rick Owens Lilies for apparel, along with Shaun Leane for jewelry.

Top Sales This Week

M2057 by Maria Pinto (833 W. Washington Blvd., m2057.com) is celebrating its third anniversary with a sample sale. Running today through Sunday, the sale will offer styles priced at anywhere from $15 to $200. (Store reps say there won’t be another sale like this for years.) The sale will also run online.

Ikram (15 E. Huron St., ikram.com) is holding an in-store sale offering 75 percent off selected items this weekend only. The sale begins today, and wraps on Saturday.

Chelsea Jones (2425 N. Clark St., chelseajones.com) holds its end of summer shoe sale August 10 to 31. The sale will take 40 percent off the entire selection of women’s shoes, which include leather sandals and purple pumps. The sale also applies online, to customers who use the promo code “summersale40.”

Looking for some new yoga gear? Exhale’s Gold Coast location (945 N. State St., exhalespa.com) will hold a sale on August 12. During the event, items from brands such as Lululemon and Beyond Yoga will be discounted by 30 to 70 percent.

Pop-Up

Local fashion atelier Production Mode is hosting a pop-up shop at TheWit Hotel (201 N. State St., thewithotel.com) through August 27. The shop sells items such as necklaces, skirts, tops, and jackets. Each piece of clothing is cut by hand and sewn individually. If you’d like to see the designs in action, save the date for August 25: ROOF on theWit will host a fashion show featuring looks from the collection.
