Serious timepiece collectors will want to check out the selection of new and vintage watches at Apartment Number 9 (1804 N. Damen Ave., 773-395-2999). The Bucktown menswear boutique is holding a watch event on Thursday, May 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. with the co-founders of a new luxury timepiece line called ASTOR+BANKS, designed and built in Chicago. Makeup artist Bobbi Brown will make a personal appearance at Bloomingdale’s North Michigan Avenue (900 N. Michigan Ave.) on Tuesday, May 20.
